Pig
Remind in the future, not to be so piggish as to eat what I had today. For a start, there was a delicious packed lunch which I ate (I'm not having the yoghurt for a few minutes) but I also went off to Somerfield to get a bit of extra nibbles... I came back with a huge bag of crisps (Walkers Thai Sensations what's more), a can of coke and 2 Jam Doughnuts (which I shared).
Bleh.
I'm going to be obese soon.

Appreciation
It is truly nice to know that people appreciate the work that is done by Tom, Jack and many of the others at wikiHow, for example:
this page which was recently tagged on Technorati.

Update
Technorati has finally decided that yes, I
do own this blog - which is a good thing. I've specified about 16 tags that represent it... I've also just updated the software to the latest Pivot 1.3 beta
2b.

Servers dropping like flies
Alas, wikiHow appears to be down - and it is well into the American night so I do not expect it to be up for some while now. Special note also should go to DrBob's
blog, which has suffered some fatal miscongruities recently. I don't, at least, have to worry about this database failing on me (because, there is no database). Had a nice lie-in today, though the current continual rendition of baby videos in the living room is more than slightly irksome.
There's a large TeamSpeak meeting this evening regarding how DiVAs will get the CSS server up and running to its continual 32 player madness. Should be an interesting meeting, and it's very important that we do manage to fill it up. If you play CSS, get in our server @ 195.149.21.128:27015 @ 2000 UST tonight.

So much to do, so little time
It's scary what commitments I sorta seemed to have picked up as things to do over the past 6 months or so. Not only have I managed to start college (erm, ok, not quite so much of an achievement there), but also been involved in a few other things more and more. Whilst still trying to maintain a grip on some of the inner student machinations in
NAGTY, keep an eye on a number of articles at
Wikipedia and be with Becca for as long as possible (goes without saying); it's been odd that other areas have consumed me. I've become a member of a gaming
clan for which,
btw, I've (as of this week) become the second CSS
WA for. This involves lots of time challenging people for and generally organising the ladder. Though, because we have a 2 week log of confirmed matches, I'm letting it off slightly - although I
will make perhaps a dozen (:s) challenges over the weekend. Being a clan member also means a number of 2 hour matches some evenings, which are a social drain ;).
Then again,
wikiHow also has deeply embroiled me in its affairs since I discovered it in early June. Having been made an
admin I've felt more responsible for the wellfare of the site itself, and am truly concerned about every aspect of it. I attempt to devote as much of my spare time to working on it as possible: alas, that time hasnt been all that it could have. Nevertheless, I invite you all to contribute to wikiHow, because it is a truly great product, with an inventive and friendly (fledgeling) community. Also, it's more managable than Wikipedia is to keep track of things.
On more techie notes, my Christmas wishlist is oddly technical, with RAM being a nice want. As is COD2. I've also installed KDE alongside GNOME in Ubuntu in order to play along with (not got into those advanced configs). My Ubuntu 5.10 CDs also finally arrived! I'm attempting to distribute as many as possible at school, and of my 15, I've currently managed to give 5 away to deserving homes. On another note, Windows has managed to Expire from its evaluation period, but there is an interesting bug whereby as long as I restart it within every 2 hours of use, I can use it indefinitely; though the restarting is a pain, it should allow me to remain active until I can get a licensed copy.
